Formed in July 2025, AERA Ensemble is a dynamic trio dedicated to adventurous chamber music that sparks curiosity and enjoyment. The ensemble has quickly gained recognition, recently winning First Prize in the Mixed Ensemble Final at the Royal Overseas League Competition in March 2026 and joining the prestigious Dorothy Green Young Artists Scheme. Recent highlights include a soirée recital at the Alexander Street House Concert Series, where they showcased their distinctive repertoire for clarinet, violin/viola, and piano. They also perform regularly within the Royal College of Music community, continuing to build a vibrant presence.

AERA Ensemble is excited about a series of upcoming engagements, including a performance at Wigmore Hall as part of the ROSL Gold Medal Final, as well as recitals at the Britten Pears Concert Series, Holywell Music Room in Oxford, and St Peter’s in Marlborough. The ensemble has worked closely with leading chamber musicians including Daniel Rowland, Richard Hosford, Danny Driver, Tim Lines, and Sue Thomas.

As they look to the future, AERA Ensemble aims to expand into a larger collective, fostering collaboration and creative exchange across a broad range of musical voices. With playfulness and passion at their core, they strive to make each performance a meaningful and memorable experience for both musicians and audiences.
